Pre-wash and rinse

Our exclusive valeting service start with a rinse down of the car, followed by a pre-wash. This helps us to get rid of any loose dirt, grime, soot, and similar contaminants from the bodywork. Once this is done, we flush the wheel arches and rinse the engine bay. This gives our highly-trained valets a fresh surface to work on.

Foaming and cleaning

The next step is to snow foam the entire car. This breaks down any grime or dirt that wasn’t dislodged during the pre-wash and rinse. Next, we agitate all tight areas with a soft brush to loosen the dirt and clean all wheels inside and out. A further rinse gets rid of the snow foam and reluctant dirt.

Washing the bodywork

We dress the engine bay with a specially-formulated sealant, before getting down to the main surface clean. We wash down your car twice, using a soft mitt to prevent scratching the bodywork. This gets rid of all but the most deeply embedded dirt, leaving your panels bright and sparkling. Once we’re done, we rinse the car off again.

Finishing touches

With the bodywork clean, it’s time to protect it. We apply a hydrophobic rinse coating to begin with. This repels dirt and water from the surface of your car, keeping it cleaner for longer. Another rinse comes next, followed by drying off the car with a soft, plush towel. Our final treatment for your paintwork is a detailing spray.

Doors, glass, and wheels

Valeting is about more than just getting the bodywork looking good. At SMC Detailing we look after the areas other valet services miss. This include wiping down the door shuts, as well as drying the wheels and applying a tyre dressing. We also give the windscreen and all other glass area as through clean, inside and out.

Interior cleaning

To make the inside of your car look as good as the outside, we perform a thorough clean of the interior. This include a deep hoovering of all internal areas, front and back, followed by scrubbing the mats and carpets. To finish off, we ensure that all surfaces inside the car are properly dusted and wiped down.

Mobile car valeting service

While we welcome customers to our Horley-based finishing centre for their valeting needs, we understand not everyone can make it. That’s why we provide a mobile valeting service for all customers within 15 miles of the Redhill area. Our professional valets will arrive at your home or workplace with the equipment and materials needed for a quality job.
